Blogs and the environment...

Blogs don't pollute the environment - they only exist in the computer! Sorry, wrong. Blogs run on servers which need electricity. And that adds up. But one can try to compensate (at least a part) at another place.

UPDATE: We're planting another 106 trees! More...

We plant a tree for your blog!

Everybody can help. And sometimes it's very easy. With our project "A blog, a tree" you can do your bit for the environment together with I plant a tree and ITSTH (author of Outlook sync software):

Write a short post to inform the readers of your blog. Then use of the buttons below in your blog (for example in your sidebar) to show you're taking part. Now simply tell us (scroll down). And you're done. We're going to plant (and pay) a tree for you.

(The unavoidable: Only 1 tree per blog. We have 1000 trees to plant. Sorry, no "yesterday created pseudo blogs". We reserve the right to switch to other tree species if we're running short.)

Buttons

To take part simply copy the HTML code of one of the buttons and paste it in your blog.
(Wordpress-Blogger can download our Widget and use it: "Plugins > Add new > Upload)
